Land preparation
Land preparation at MTAB is a division of the company that aims for new goals and is in constant development. We view land preparation as a very complex forest management practice, where the knowledge and competence of our operators are of great importance. This is essential to meet the objectives set by forest owners after land preparation is completed, as well as to achieve the environmental goals that we set for ourselves, which also include the external environmental targets presented in today’s forestry.

Our customers
Currently, our customers includes SCA, Stora Enso, Holmen, Mellanskog, Södra skogsägarna, Sveaskog and Billerud. The are of operation for land preparation at Magnus Thor AB extends from Halmstad in the south to Pajala in the north, and from the eastern parts of the country to the west.
What jobs do we do?
No job is too big or too small; please feel free to contact us if you have any questions regarding land preparation. We have the capability to handle harrowing and piling. Additionally, we have seeding units that we connect to one of our machines, and we carry out sowing on several hundred hectares of forest land each year.
